Materials
Teak
Teak is a dense, oily hardwood that holds up well indoors and out. Its grain runs from pale gold to deep brown, and it darkens gently with age.
Knots, cracks and shifts in colour are part of the material, so no two pieces look exactly alike.

Care and maintenance
Wipe teak with a damp cloth and dry it. Oil a table top now and then, and keep wood out of the dishwasher and out of standing water.
